iPhone FAQ : Widgets
- What is a widget?
- Apple's usage of the term is vague, but seems to encompass all the icons on the Home screen that are not Phone, Safari, Mail or iPod.
- What widgets are included?
- Text, Calendar, Photos, Camera, YouTube, Stocks, Maps, Weather, Clock, Calculator, Notes, and Settings. (See the MacInTouch review for details.)
- Can I download more widgets like I can for Dashboard?
- No.
- Does the Clock widget have an alarm clock?
- Yes, and you can create multiple alarms. Clock also has a stopwatch, a countdown timer and configurable World Clocks.
