What is the web browser?
iPhone uses a version of Apple's Safari browser, customized for iPhone. This includes support for iPhone's "pinch" and double-tap zoom interface methods.
 
Can I sync with my Mac or PC's bookmarks, using tools such as iSync?
Yes, Safari on Mac and PC, or Internet Explorer on Windows. iTunes provides the synchronization service.
 
Does it support Flash and Java?
No.
 
Does Safari support RSS feeds, like Safari for Mac and Windows?
No, however, Apple has created a web browser-based RSS reader at reader.mac.com. When you select an RSS feed from a web page link or your bookmarks, iPhone invokes this reader.
 
Can you download and store songs, movies, text files, PDF's, etc?
No.
 
Does the iPhone support QuickTime and/or QuickTime VR in Safari?
No.
