I Want The iPhone
I am not one of those people who hate technology. However, my theory is if the old technology still works for me, I do not need something new. I keep using my electronic equipment until it breaks or starts slowing my forward progression. I appreciate the new technology and thinks it is great, but seldom to I ever feel the urge and just go and buy a new electronic device just because it is new and it exist.
That is until I saw the new iphone. I am experiencing new technology envy for the first time in my life. I want that phone. After just few minutes on the iphone website, I was hooked.
My cell phone is my primary phone. On it, I receive both personal and business calls so it is a vital piece of technology in my life. My family lives all over the country so it helps me feel connected to them. The cell phone also is my business phone. Clients know that I always answer my cell phone when possible and promptly return my calls. So when I saw the voicemail feature on the new iphone, I was hooked.
This feature allows you to choose which voicemail you would like to hear. The amount of time this could save you would be worth the cost of the phone. Now I do not have to sit through the long first voicemail, to get to the next one. I can see who called and left a message and check that voicemail. Today I don't need to hear all of my sisters five minute voicemail on the red dress she bought, just to get to my clients message about a order they need to place. Or it works the other way, I don't need to listen to three clients voicemails just to get to my sisters call about her important medical test results.. As I said before this feature alone makes me want to get this phone.
The keyboard on the new iphone also looks very impressive. I like the fact that it has a dictionary already in the phone. Also you can go back and correct a mistake without having to delete everything you typed after that point. It also has punctuation, another plus. Add to that you can sync this phone with your PC or MAC, another big plus.
Ok I already have a AT&T account. So I am waiting to see how much the phone cost. If it does retail for $500.00 I think it is well worth the price. I just have to figure how to get rid of that stupid sliver phone, any ideas?
